You really feel like a scrimshander when you have the opportunity
to work on this traditional material. The tooth is about 3 ½” tall.
I was able to get some of the detail for this piece from photos
I took in Mystic, Connecticut where this historic vessel is still
afloat and serves to bring history to life.
