“Charles Morgan Whaling Ship”
The foreground image is from a photograph Linda took while standing on the deck of the “Charles Morgan” ship. Then she imagines looking out at the same ship under sail. This more traditional piece is on pre-ban elephant ivory. It is wrapped in a brass bezel with a backing and base made of antique long leaf pine. The base holds a six sided glass piece, a replica of ones used on the decks of ships to add light to the level below.
